“Reality surpasses imagination"
For years we have been reading about a decline in sperm, malformed fish and chemical pollutants. In the meantime, it has become clear that testosterone is also declining. This is due to a progressive chemical castration which happens already in the womb and is caused by environmental pollutants.
No mother or father can be indifferent if their child is castrated in the womb, not to forget grandmothers and grandfathers.
These questions seemed rather theoretical and scientific until we felt the the effects in our immediate family circle. Discretion forbids details. Thats when I vowed to take a stand against the chemical violence we are inflicting on nature and our youth.
Thats why I wrote a book in German: “Castrated in the womb - every man a guinea pig” (in German guinea pigs are “Versuchskaninchen”, white rabbits).
Not a dull, patronizing non-fiction book. But rather a pamphlet or a provocative essay for general readers. The actions of testosterone need to be explained, which takes a little effort, but is exciting in itself.
I was guided by Haydn's string quartets to bring the diverse material into a form.
I received interest, encouragement and corrections above all from Prof. Dr. med. Klaus Neftel, who unfortunately did not live to see the finished product, then from Dr. sc. tech. and Dipl. Ing. agr. ETH Marianne Bodenmann, Maria Gervasi, Dr. med. Magdalena Hamberger, Dr. phil. René Hauswirth, Prof. Jochen Hellbeck, Prof. Dr. med. Reto Krapf, Dr. med. Hermann Maurer, Dr. med. Hans L. Rieder, Dr. med. Jacques Schiltknecht, Edgar Schuler and Prof. Dr. med. Beat Steinmann. I owe them all a debt of gratitude.
And since the book consists of 103 short chapters, I thought it might be worthwhile to translate them into English one by one and see what happens. So, let’s start with the first chapter.
The German edition of this book can be ordered e.g. here.
Your basic hypothesis is inaccurate. Our stress filled lifeways leave us with high blood cortisol levels, and that steroid inhibits the production and release of the hypothalamic Master reproductive hormone, GNRH, which, in turn, impedes the production and release of FSH and LH from the pituitary gland. Massive human overpopulation is the culprit and Mother Nature has seen it all before. A vast biology literature supports and has previously reported this fact. Nature bats last.
